Adobe AIR-based Agile Agenda puts emphasis on properly managing your schedule so that you can put all your efforts into getting things done, not on working on the schedule. It can automatically calculate your schedule based on your input, it can be used with your Basecamp account, schedules can be very easily shared, and many other useful functions are offered by Agile Agenda.

To run Agile Agenda on your machine you must have the Adobe AIR runtime already installed on it. If you don’t have Adobe AIR, you need to get it. If you already have Adobe AIR, to get started with Agile Agenda you must download a 2.7MB installer, run it, and then click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard.

You may find the application a bit confusing, especially if you used other scheduling software before. There’s nothing to worry about - Agile Agenda is different from other scheduling applications because it puts emphasis on tasks, not on start and end dates. To make sure you don’t have any problems getting started with Agile Agenda’s functionality, the developer invites you to view a Getting Started guide. If that is not enough, there’s lots of online documentation to check out.

The functionality you get from Agile Agenda depends on the edition you’re on; and this is where I tell you that there’s a Basecamp and a Standard edition. You will find the following features in both these editions: automatically calculate schedules, view and edit tasks in a spreadsheet view, view and manage workloads, create charts, maintain complex task dependencies, track task priority, export to iCal and to PDF.

Get Agile Agenda and smartly manage your schedule. This is a properly good schedule management tool.

Pros

Installing Agile Agenda is a very simple task. There’s lots of documentation to check out; it comes in handy if you have any problems getting started with Agile Agenda. Use Agile Agenda to efficiently manage your schedule. There are two editions to choose from.

Cons

Free to use for a limited period of time (3-day trial, 30-day trial if you register).
